The Golden Shoe explores two versions of the classic fairytale Cinderella with original music by Justin Reardon.  The performance begins with the story of Rhodopis, set in ancient Egypt, followed by Ella, which takes place in a modern high school.  Seen together, these pieces address themes of empathy, anti-bullying, and compassion, while showing new audiences the power of storytelling through dance.
